Bay 2, oil and filter
The right oil, changed on time
Synthetic, Dexos or any type your engine calls for, plus high-mileage and low-mileage service.
Chapter 01
Wrong oil and missed intervals
Oil does three jobs at once: it lubricates, it carries heat away from the parts that make it, and it holds fine grit in suspension until the filter catches it. Leave it in too long and it stops doing all three. What is left turns to sludge in the places an engine can least afford it.
The wrong grade is the quieter mistake. A newer engine built to tight clearances wants the viscosity and the specification its maker named, and a thinner or thicker oil changes how fast it reaches the top of the engine on a cold morning.
Either way, the engine does not complain until the damage is well along. A change on schedule, in the right oil, is how that never comes up.

Synthetic, Dexos, high-mileage and low-mileage service
Zentner's changes synthetic oil, Dexos oil or any type your engine calls for, on any make or model. The technician matches the oil to the vehicle, not the other way around.
High-mileage engine care is its own service, with oil formulated for older engines. Low-mileage oil changes keep newer engines on a steady rhythm from the start. The same visit includes a look at fluids and tires, because the car is already in the bay.
ASE-certified technicians do the work, and the shop will match any written price you bring in.
Chapter 03
Additives, pickup and delivery, and the windshield sticker
Oil additives to reduce wear are available for engines that have earned a little extra protection, such as ones that run hard, tow, or have a long history. Ask the service writer whether it makes sense for yours before it goes in.
If the day does not have an hour in it, ask about pickup and delivery options. Otherwise, wait in the lounge with complimentary Wi-Fi, coffee or a soft drink.
The small sticker on the windshield is your next due date. Keep to the 5,000 to 7,500 mile guidance the shop gives for maintenance, and call (920) 734-6109 if you are unsure which end of that range your driving falls on.
Synthetic, Dexos or any type your engine calls for, from a family-owned Greenville Drive shop that has served the Fox Valley for over 60 years.
Oil spec sheet
Four lines that show up on an oil-change ticket, and when each one is the right call. Your owner's manual has the final word on grade, and the service writer will check it with you.
| On the ticket | Reach for it when |
|---|---|
| Synthetic | Engines whose manual calls for it, and drivers who want oil that keeps flowing through a cold Fox Valley start. |
| Dexos | Vehicles whose maker specifies Dexos-approved oil. The oil cap, the owner's manual and the sticker will say so. |
| High-mileage | Engines with plenty of miles behind them, where seals and worn surfaces get more care from the oil. |
| Low-mileage | Newer engines early in life, where on-time changes keep clean internals clean. |
